  • Just got the software and this tutorial has already gotten me started. I'll be preparing a photo album with Indesign, so if you could make a quick tutorial on how to work with photos, that'd be great!

  • Thanks man, really helpful tutorial :)

  • @refinden apples have a lot of simple additions that make it easier to perform a workflow. I use windows because I use a lot of programs that are not available for mac os. Mac does have the best video editor and sound editor. I will start using mac os as a virtual machine when I switch to a intel cpu.

  • @refinden

3 reasons (not a complete list):

    1) apple have always claimed to be "at the intersection of technology and the liberal arts". although they're a very profitable business, they come off as social activists empowering individual expression.

    2) they focus on making their products simple to use, which tends to draw in the less technically hardcore.

    3) anyone with design sensibility has a hard time resisting the aesthetics of apple's hardware/software. it stands out.

  • Why does everyone in the art industry use Apple computers?

  • Got a quick question which adobe software is best for creating flashy event flyers? Got some one that does nice flyers but she wouldn't say what software she uses. Thanks a lot.

  • Thank you! x

  • @ctdrgnify (have you attempted)*

  • @phatness222 Hey there! Have to attempted to save your pictures of the model as a png? The issue with the fileformat might be that you're saving in jpg or some other format that doesn't allow for transparency.

  • Great info, thanks much! I would love to know how to bring in my pics from photoshop of models that I have taken the background out so I have a model surrounded by transparency but when I bring them in to indesign they have a white background behind the model. I would like to just bring in the model so she can be over two colors in the document. Can you help me do this please. Thank you. Bill Newsome

  • I find your explanation very useful and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing.

  • @LittleMissBlackart should be able to drag and drop?
