@ThePanozRacer he had at least 2 maybe 3 more years of racing in him... and probably 30 or 40 more wins... that would have put him over 100 wins... he probably would have been retired by mcgrath 93 94... it would have been interesting to go back and see what would have happened if he had not gotten hurt... long live the badboy!!!

The end of the Ricky Johnson era.... the following week was the Gainesville 250 Outdoor national, Danny Storbeck landed on Johnson in practice, broke his navicular (wrist) and that was it. Johnson finished 3rd here in 1990 for his final SX Podium

@ThePanozRacer That sucked that he got injured like that. He would have won allot more races/titles.

Yeah, that was the thing I remembered most about this race. He was just riding on the edge of control the whole race! Amazing he just got up and kept racing.
