  • I was on this world tour .... where can I get the copy of the film ?

  • I was there!!! I was almost " fainted" when Paul's guitar flashed and hit my eyes!

  • Amazing. I was also 14 years old when I saw him in Dortmund. And I was blown away too. I remember being very surprised about how powerful it all sounded live - also Got To Get You Into My Life...

  • Figure of Eight was the right song to open! It;s an awesome song, I was in his concert at Los Angeles Forum in 1992. He opend with this song and it was my first time to hear this song and it blew me away!!!

  • As he said in an interview, he first thought of opening with a classic song. But he wouldn't underrate his new band and album so he choose Figure OfEight as opener. And for me it still is the perfect one :-) I was 14 when I saw him back in 1989 and I can still feel the thunder going to my body when he opened ;-) btw 'it was 20 years ago today', well tomorow it will be 20 years ago, to be honest... 'Guten Abend Dortmund'

  • He was plugging his "Flowers in the Dirt" CD. Very underrated song and CD as a whole, I always thought.

  • Well he opened with Hello Goodbye in his 2003 shows.

But figure of eight aint a bad song, but I see your point.

  • After having not toured for 13 years, opening up a show with the unknown "Figure of Eight" was an odd decision. I saw the '89-90 tour 3 times and it finally dawned on me that Figure of Eight wasn't a great choice. The song here is seemingly interminable. He'd have been better off with "I Saw Her Standing There" or "Hello Goodbye"
