@FRSFreeStatePlus I don't have a big problem with earmarks. It's the responsibility of Congress members to bring back money to their district (money that they pay in taxes). Granted, it can be and is often abused.
I don't think it will ever be politically possible to eliminate Congressional Earmarks. But what we can do is cut them substantially by giving them sunlight and forcing Members of Congress to pay for them.
