Kenny Loggins - Return To Pooh Corner Lyrics
Christopher Robin and I walked along
Under branches lit up by the moon
Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore
As our days disappeared all too soon
But I've wandered much further today than I should
And I can't seem to find my way back to the Wood

So help me if you can
I've got to get back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh

Winnie the Pooh doesn't know what to do
Got a honey jar stuck on his nose
He came to me asking help and advice
And from here no one knows where he goes
So I sent him to ask of the Owl if he's there
How to loosen a jar from the nose of a bear

So help me if you can
I've got to get back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
You'd be surprised
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh

It's hard to explain how a few precious things
Seem to follow throughout all our lives
After all's said and done I was watching my son
Sleeping there with my bear by his side
So I tucked him in, I kissed him and as I was going
I swear that the old bear whispered "Boy welcome home"

Believe me if you can
I've finally come back
To the House at Pooh Corner by one
What do you know
There's so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher Robin
Back to the ways of Christopher Robin
Back to the days of Pooh

  • i love this song sooo much! Winnie The Pooh used to be such a good show then they had to go and make all these new, boring versions. And then, when i thought it couldnt get any worse.... they replaced Christopher Robin with that girl ='(

  • Hold on this a song wtf

  • i love this song , its like a safe haven , and when my grandson was born i played this song

  • is it weird that i am a 19 year male and i like this song?

  • Chris Evans likes this song :)

  • @cqsallie I think you might be missing the real point here. We all have our own Pooh Corner somewhere inside of us. I come back to this site from time to time just to jump start the trip to my Pooh Corner and kinda set the mood for the trip. Those characters that live in an endless state of innocence and childhood are us.

I'm 61 and I pray I never lose my way back to the days of Christopher Robin and Pooh and I hope you never do either.

  • I used to love this show when I was little, so much so my Dad called me "Pooh" and still does. So at my Sweet 16 my Dad and I danced to this for our father daughter dance. I miss you Winne the Pooh and I can't wait to see the new movie with my dad =).

  • my daddy died yesterday and this is what he sang me too. many wishes for the people whose daddy had passed away.

  • @dodge96neon OMG! Nooooooo!

Did a grown-up Christopher Robin become Kenny Loggins? Aren't our favorite 'toon characters and book characters supposed to live forever in an endless state of childhood?

I wouldn't put it past the Disney (anything for a buck) Studio to come out with a 20-something Christopher Robin, along with a love interest...

GEEZ! I hope I haven't given them an idea.....

  • @fuzzynuggetman27 I never really liked Tigger. He was way too frenetic. Pooh and everyone else were so coooooollllll.......
