@christopherlulz Things don't necessarily always need a beginning. God didn't have one.

"What if everything always existed?"
Now THAT is a good question. I honestly never thought about that before. Jeez, it seems like I am rethinking my ideology a lot more often recently...
Infinity, though, is something that doesn't help either side of this massive debate, simply because neither side can prove it to be an actual thing or not. For the time being, infinity is nothing more than an idea.

It is scientifically IMPOSSIBLE for everything to have always existed the basic rule of science is everything has a beginning and an end. If you believe that then you completely contradict your atheist beliefs.
-
There is also a theory about energy transforming into matter somehow wich is interesting...

@IamMrIrish believe it or not what you said as 'logical' is indeed logical. It's called skepticism, it's playing on the idea that it cannot be disproven, thus possible. However skepticism is a two way street, and unless otherwise presented, the burden of proof is on the 'God exists' side to show this existance as truth since 'God doesn't exist' is a negative argument. If you want to go down that road, go ahead, but you pretty much wind up with the physical realm not existing, only thought.

@IamMrIrish divine can be a synonym for inhuman in case you did not know.

As a Catholic I respect all of your beliefs or lack thereof. You provide valid points that any atheist would agree with, though your purpose of this video is not clear to me. Also, as a catholic, I would have to say that since to me there is a God, couldn't a God make anything appear the way he wanted it to? Though this is not scientific or 'logical' I must say that since man has created all these ideas for science, they could not provide valid evidence against or for something that is divine.

@prophecy217 You have a different idea of what evidence is than everybody else and you say you are not ignorant? /Facepalm. Quick lesson
ev·i·dence (v-dns)
n.
1. A thing or things helpful in forming a conclusion or judgment: The broken window was evidence that a burglary had taken place. Scientists weigh the evidence for and against a hypothesis.
2. Something indicative; an outward sign:
OK now we have an agreed definition of evidence, see how easy that was:-/
-
I am not ignorant att all, I just have a different idea on what evidence is than you do. But like you, I have no religion to support so I am not desperate to accept a Hypothesis as evidence to make me feel better
-
I have subbed you for two reasons, great choice in music and some very well articulated arguments.
There is no evidence of god, and there is no evidence of planetary fomation. So to support any of them is ridiculous and pure religious. The only reason anybody would pick 1 is because they dont like the other as there is no evidence for any. So quit with the religious war on christianity and admit its a mystery, could be god (deistic) could be not. Instead of aserting there is no god...which just makes you sound angry at someone

@prophecy217 It makes me sad that there are people in the world as ignorant as you.
If you honestly think that there is no evidence for planetary formation, I honestly pity you.

There is a couple of reasons why venus could be spinning backwards, God, Asteroid impact, Cosmological miracle, (or any other hypothesis without a single shred of evidence) you keep saying you dont believe in god, what do you believe in?? its looking like you believe in athiesm because you dont believe in god...Dodgy logic

@prophecy217 "cosmological miracle"
I'm gonna assume you're trolling.
