A lot of my influences are metal drummers. Drummers such as Chris Adler, The Rev, Joey Jordison, Dave Mackintosh, Mike Portnoy. I also take a lot of inspiration from funk and jazz drummers, none of whom i know the names of.

My brother messed up on the camera work, hence the sudden end, but i was only a few seconds away from the end, and i did not feel like redoing it.

For my good friend down in New Jersey, Jim-bob, the drum intro is for you, it is the "ruin" fill we were gaping at together a few months ago.

All constructive Comments are more than welcome. But if you are going to insult me, save the time and don't because ill just erase it.

This drum solo is dedicated to ellie davis, for being the best thing that has ever happened to me. ellie - i said in that note in the arm of the paper cup robot that i would write you a drum solo... here it is. hope you like it

  • hmmm try wall to wall capet i use it and mine dont jump! =/

  • i have a wall to wall, but i think that my bass is so top heavy that it doesnt help

  • you drums set is nice but it jumps to much! =)

  • ive notiecd that too.

do you know of a way to fix that?

  • That is not the ruin solo. It's close though, Chris has a breakdown of it here on YouTube just type in "lamb of god ruin fill" and find it. It's really not as hard as people think. It's very simple, it's just so fast that it's hard to play correctly.

  • I'll admit that although it is not perfect, i did get close to the fill. I saw the video you mentioned and tried my best. I just need to clean up the triplets with my feet.

  • just keep practicin bro

  • quite good!

  • awesome man

  • ur famous!

  • kk......

  • Yeah I can't do the triplets either. The way I do it is play triplets on the toms and doubles on the bass instead of the other way around cuz my bass pedals have almost no bounce back. Good luck though keep practicing and you'll get there!!
