I think both you & Dr. Palmer could be considered "right," depending on your point of view. While all treatments will include some form of interferon, there's 1) Pegasys+Riba, 2) PEG-Intron+Riba, 3) Infergen+Riba, 4) Any other form of interferon+Riba, 5) Any of the previous forms as monotherapy, 6) Any form of interferon without riba + other drugs (fluvastatin, etc.), 7) Any form of combo therapy + other drugs, blah blah blah...

Not accurate. There are not "many treatments for Hepatitis C" - there is only one approved treatment (Interferon/Ribavirin) which is successful only about 40% of the time and can have severe side-effects.
