Basic taal exercise - time and number theory.
Chautal Theka (12-beat cycle) played in nine consecutive layas (tempos): 1x, 1 1/2x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x. Acknowledgments - late guru Pt. Tribhuan Upadhya and tabla maestro Paul Leake.
With some abstract pure "numbers" bols thrown in for good measure.....
