I read somewhere when you get brain freeze to stick your thumb in your mouth placing it on the roof of your mouth hold it there for a minute or two that supposedly stops brain freeze...I`ve never tried it i don`t do cold stuff like that...lol

That reminds me of a cold cure that claims to cure the common cold in 7 days. It'll go away in 30 seconds or so anyway. :P

I usually get rid of mine by cupping my hand over my mouth and breathing in and out really hard, it cures it in a couple of seconds.
