  • Even by today's standards, this game is badass. My favorite part? The sounds of the shotgun being cocked and fired. Love it!

  • As far as arcade games from the early-to-mid 80's go, Elevator Action was a pretty fresh concept. I remember playing it in 85' when it was still fairly new and thinking "Oh cool, spies!". I got the NES port not too long afterward and played the crap out of it. I think I still have the cart in my basement somewhere.

The old Elevator Action might look a little dated, but it's still a pretty exciting game. Returns is even better, but you mustn't forget your roots.

  • damn, hardcore, horrible, yet amazing remake of elavator action.

  • the gerl is the best ♪

  • nice weapon sounds!!

  • ★This game needs to be updated for the new millenium,

  • Wait a sec, Elevator Action had an arcade version?! OMG I never knew that, I though the only game was the NES one.

  • One of my favourite 16 bit era arcade games. Still have the Saturn version at home. Gotta love the cranky levels and enemy sprites (zombies, sentry bots and jetpack scientists FTW), the frantic action and the typical Japanese synth pop music. Also, funny how the blood splatters and pools would be optionally censored, but people burning and screaming were not.

  • When are they gonna release this on XBOX arcade already?

  • FUCK!!! that looks amazing!!!

  • Wow, this sequel looks crazy! I've got to play it! It kind of makes me think of a cross between the original Elevator Action and Streets of Rage. I wish the GBA game was more like this (and less like Crayon Shin-Chan on crack).
