On 6/19/10 at approximately 0445 hours Engine Tanker 22 was dispatched on the Working House Fire in Box 33-1. Engine Tanker 22 responded with 6 and A/C Derham to South Main St in Keyser, WV. The initial assignment was Company 33, 38, Engine Rescue 23, Engine Rescue 39 (RIT) and EMS 57. Chief 33 Paitsel had the Main St Command. First arriving units found heavy fire on the Charlie Side of the house. Command requested an additional engine from Station 24. A couple minutes later, command requested Engine Tanker 22 (RIT) and Engine 44 to the scene, which completed the Box Assignment. Engine Tanker 22 arrived on the scene and was assigned (RIT). After setting up for RIT on side alpha, the 22 crew through ladders to all sides of the house. Chief Simpson had operations during the incident. Part of the 22 crew also checked the basement area for a possible victim. Command learned that the vacant home was used by 4 subjects. Three of those subject were accounted for but the fourth subject could have possibly been inside the house. The search of the basement area was negative. After the fire was brought under control, the 22 crew was assigned to overhaul operations. The crew began to overhaul the attic area and the 2nd floor of the home. Several hots spots were located and extinguished during the overhaul operations. Additional crews from other companies were overhauling the 1st floor. After the overhaul operations was complete, command released Engine Tanker 22. Units on the scene were Engine 33-13, 33-15, Truck 33, ET 38, Tower 38, Air Light 38, ER 23, ER 39, ET 22, Engine 24-11, Engine 44 and EMS 57.
@wheelingfire Yeah, we like that siren a lot. Hopefully here soon we will be getting ones for the older units. Any new units ordered, should have them on them as well.

love the powercall with the Q.....wish Wheeling, WV would get powercalls....it took us 20 some years to get an EQ2B on R-1 and a mini-Q on E-11....stay safe guys!
