They do this in a slightly lower key from the Ivan original. A wonderful rendition of a great composition. The reharmonizations of the original voicings are hip and so soothing to the soul. Que maravilhosa!

Hi, Ignaciomoran, glad you enjoyed. I haven't heard Ivan's original version in a while, however, I'm going to to back and listen to compare now that you mentioned... (that's the kind of thing that makes makes listening to music interesting and enjoyable!) Appreciate your input...muito obrigado : )

I met Ivan Lins personally prior to his concert in Manila last March and I interviewed him and his great band on camera. I got to ask him of his upbringing and past leadng to the present and his method and approach to composition. We had a grand time talking and taking photos. Talking to Marcelo Martins (sax) and the great Teo Lima (drums) kicked it up a notch. I'd seen Teo w/Djavan in Rio and Sao Paolo in past years. Yes, listen to the original version. The live version is just as captivating.
