when you are connected to internet goto command prompt type - ipconfig

now check for default gateway address field the ip address return there is ur router or modem ip now type that ip in the browser.

i went to the website 192.168.1.1 rite, i got a dsl and i gotta put in a username and a password to use the service configtion.what is the usename and password? i tought it was username: admin  password:password? it is that or did they change it? can u check?

enter username - admin

password - password or default or admin

remember if these does not work and you have never changed password for ur DSL router that means you should consult with your DSL manufacturer with model no. for default username and password or search google for default username and password for UR DSL modem or router manufacturer with model no. best of luck.

there should be a reset button near poer button reset password

just open network and sharing centre go to ure connection click view status and go to details simple way to find deafult gateway and more.

sometimes its ip sometimes default gateway mines a motorola so it was default gateway but dont know pass :(
