Here i found this short intro from the wonderful cartoon Whatamess ( What-A-Mess , Chedisastro in italian), a little puppy of afghan hound, whose real name is Prince Amir of Kinjan.
Based on the popular Frank Muir book series, this cartoon follows this messy, dirty , noble dog on his troubled adventures of everyday.

I remember that too! I loved those lil dudes.

I seem to remember that I once saw an episode of this and it was really cute and there was this completely pointless and weird but adorable subplot going on about tiny aliens arriving to Earth which had nothing to do with the rest of the story, completely ignored by all characters, it was only happening every now and then in a corner of the screen.

Have I gone mad or do I remember right?
