The Bible demands that teaching be done in a clear understandable manner. Many of the Bible's most profound epistles, prayers, and psalms are short, yet incredibly profound in matters of theology and philsophy.

Friedrich Nietzsche, despite his intense hatred for Christianity and the Bible, actually agrees with the teachings of Scripture on this point. Nietzsche stated that he wanted to be able to say in about ten sentences what it might take a entire book to state.

Sadly, many today believe that long vague writings with confusing difficult language and paradoxical messages testify to their own scholarship and importance. This couldn't be more false. Vague, confusing, and paradoxical writings of great length are the indications of irrationalism, not scholarship.
