Despite the fact that the movie goes through the standard up-by-the-bootstraps remarkable cycle, the performances of Tatum, Howard, and Henao make the story surprisingly compelling, plus the combat sequences are exceptionally fierce, offering the film substantial extra zest. Although much less high-profile than overcome classics for example ROCKY plus the KARATE Kid, FIGHTING matches nicely into the category of revered movies of the boxing/martial-arts subgenre.
