This is the entrance of the Hong Kong border crossing area. The border is interesting because there's a space in between Shenzhen and Hong Kong that officially belongs to neither, so you're in no country at all while in there. As we get closer to the border, the foreign sound of Cantonese becomes more and more pronounced in our surroundings. Once there we'll be mainly using English to communicate as far more people know it than Mandarin.
