Great infromation. I thank God for the Apostolic Doctrine. There is but One Lord one faith and one Baptism! I am glad to know that I have been saved according to God's Holy Word. Having experienced the New Birth according to Acts 2:38 I know it is right!

IT is all the same!! When will the church realize that we are all saying the same thing! Jesus is in God the father and God the father is in Jesus and The holy spirit is in Both! 1 in 3 and 3 in 1! Who came first the chicken or the egg? C'mon saints its all the same!! The apostles would be tremendously upset by this debate. Get out of these dumb formulas both ways are right if u got Jesus u have the trinity! If u have the trinity u have Jesus!

These people get so technical and argue down to the finest points of scripture and what we MUST do and all of this and that theology. This vs & that vs and fight back and forth along the thinnest lines, and really battle out what salvation is and what all it requires and much to do about it...and then I look at the criminal on the cross ,who barely knew anything...and all he said was remember me Jesus when your kingdom comes, and Jesus quite simply replied "You're Saved".

I have a hard time with these debates about the Bible...what if I go to visit a friend in the Hospital whom I have'nt seen in years, and he has never read the Bible or heard the Gospel and he is dying. If I share the Good News with him and he "Believes"/repents and he calls on the name of Jesus and puts his faith all in Christ, and confesses him as Savior and Lord and rolls over and dies...Is he SAVED at that point or is he NOT SAVED because his entire theology is only the SAVING GOSPEL message?

I have to believe that water baptism is purely symbolic, for this reason, if a soldier in Iraq for instance who had heard the Gospel and had not yet recieved salvation, were pinned down by enemie gunfire and death was certain, but he could call on the name of Jesus {Romans 10:8-13} crying out to God for forgivness through the Gospel and repenting of his sins and trusting Christ..would God reject him because he had no water & no one to baptize him? I won't believe that, having read God's Word.

Technically speaking "water" is not mentioned at Acts 2:38...and there are 3 baptisms. John the baptizer said he only baptized with water but one who would follow him {Jesus of course} would baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

I believe the baptism that saves is the one Jesus gives, not John's baptism. Paul said in Acts 19:2-4 that Johns baptism does'nt save,so they were then baptized by conversion to Christ by faith confessing him and believing in their heart, as in Romans 10:8-13.

Water baptism does not wash your sins away, it is a sign of the covenant. nowhere in scripture does it say that they verbally spoke Jesus over a baptism, although I'm sure many did. but the point of the apostles telling others "no, we are doing this in JESUS name, not yahweh" in order to make sure gentiles new this wasn't a Jewish religion.

I think anyone who claims they can put god in a oneness or trinity box is fulling themselves. It's truly beyond us to truly understand God. People are so prideful... one day they will see they didn't have it all figured out after all.

Dr. Morey is not a radical trinitarian like some other trinitarians that say we will see 3 distinct or seperate persons in heaven
