  • does anyone have any general rules for when not to auto-resolve? I can't stand it when I have a 5:3ish advantage against some rebels, auto-resolve, and lose. usually sets me back a few turns

  • @therzaoflollygags My general rule is 3:1 advantage or higher.

  • "They're itching to cross their spears with somebody."

    Freudian slip.

  • @Antiks72 Really!? I thought the crossing of swords would be more of a slip!

  • I love your strategy to get funds in the early part of the campaign to prepare for war! Some people are very eager to fight and start preparing really early, which I respect, but you make sure your empire is solid before going to a MASS war. Of course you're going to have to conquer some settlements&armies in the start, but i'm talking about battle almost 3 times a turn. :D Keep it up and I can't wait to watch ur vids through to the end!

  • why did you put archers to battering ram, they are really weak when it gets to hand to hand fight?

  • what i do is have the spearmen/infantry push the ram and have the archers shoot over the walls to weaken the eemy before i actually attack them hand-to-hand.

  • i have at least 2 groups of peasents in every city just in case the garrison needs to march out and take a city i don't care how many of them die and after they waste there lives bringing down the gates i just have the withdraw

  • great battle but what was annoying me was you having your archers at the front where they were vulnerable you should have put your spear men in front of them that way they would be safe from the cavalry also use spear men to carry the ram not archers you could then use them to pepper the enemy while you batter the walls and gates down

  • thumbs up if you love his voice!!!

  • seriously, why do you use archers to push the battering rams?!

  • Ah the beautiful,beautiful cities...how i miss those in empire,napoleon and even shogun 2

  • silly people XD
