Old Batch Close Coupled Ideal Standard, Station Road, Kettering

I forgot the place of this, but it's on Station Road in Kettering.

Here we have an old batch close coupled Ideal Standard Studio (or so I believe, the washbasin is studio model), with "Envoy" seat, and matching Ideal Standard washbasin.

This model can also be found in the gents public toilets at the council offices. This one has a temperamental flush though, as I had to do a consecutive.

Me too, I've always liked the waterhole in this one :) Shame it's not so good at flushing.

Interesting the logo on the toilet is of an older batch (logo with an underline under "Standard" was used until late

80s). "Ideal Standard" as seen on the basin without the underline/slant was used late 1980s reight until until a couple of years ago. Probably means this toilet fates from the cusp of the batch change, rather than the sink being installed later. I absolutley hate IS's new logo!
