TASCAM GT R1 Test Drive... This may be the coolest little gadget for the guitar player who is looking to improve their chops... I literally made these recordings within two hours of opening the box - it is very easy to use and has great quality.... This video demonstrates the onboard effects, condenser mic, drum machine, overdubbing... I love it.

@hatecrewmetal14 Mine came with a nice little quick start that was helpful. If you think this is difficult don't be buying any 8-track or more stuff.

How is the drum machine? Are the drum loops programable via midi or changeable? Is there any variation or only 80 plain patterns? Thanks!

2 questions: can i use the condenser mics and plug a mic into the guitar imput and record at the same time???

. . . and if i pre record a song on a keybord, could i record it on to the tascam gt-r1, then overdub live drums??? if you can answer these questions i would be happy so i can buy one
