  • Jenny, the song sounds amazing so far! That's so cool that it inspired your idea for NaNoWriMo. :) I was so happy after watching John's vlog and I'm glad he's participating in it, too. lol

I wasn't happy with the teenage romance idea at all because I thought it was really bland and ordinary. So I decided to come up with something else and now, it's kind of like 6 or 7 smaller stories meshed into one. This new idea was actually inspired by Imogen Heap's new album. lol

  • Thankyouthankyouthankyou. I like my song too, I just have to expand on it a bit to get it to a place I'd like it (exactly like NaNo)

Mike's comment does make me feel a little better. I'm trying to look at it just as an experience, but I can't shake the feeling that this will determine the rest of my life lol

I love the idea of using your experiences to make a story. It'll make the story itself so much more meaningful in the long run, while helping to develop the emotions realistically as well.

  • I always run out of characters in this little boxes.

    3. My inspiration is pretty lame. I've written a few short snippets of important things in my life and posted them on Xanga and people have really liked them, so I thought I could make a full story around them. Plus, writing things like that always makes me feel better and I like having the important parts of my life written down for review later on.

  • "NaNoWrimOH MY GOD." You're the greatest.

    1. Your tags are my life at the moment. Today Mike Young said to me, "I think this month may define your ambitions as a writer, but Im not sure it will make or break them. Its going to take a lot more than your first manuscript to do that." It made me feel a little better, so I'm passing it on to you.

    2. I loved your song! For realz realz. Your talent never stops. The melancholiness reminded me a little of Sylvia Plath. I mean that in a good way.
