Matt Dillahunty and Jeff Dee start out talking to a caller about why they care about the way christians view atheists. The conversation slides into discussing whether or not personal experiences should be considered evidence.

  • @codyjt5150 I'm confused. You say you dont give a rats ass, yet you apparently watch these videos and complain about them. Who is forcing you to watch them?

They cant force their ideas to anyone unless they choose to watch this show. I wouldnt think kids would be interested in this type of show anyway. I'd think teletubbies or something would be more interesting to kids. I dont get where you get the idea of them "shoving their atheism to others" from.

  • christians bitch about this show yet they have entire TV channels spouting their shit and they can attack atheists, even physically and yet no-one stops them, and those who do are punished and often executed.

  • Haha wtf, there's a little sign on the bottom that says "Faith is just gullibility," I love it!

  • @aidan1668

Off the top of my head.

    2+2=4 (not 7 or 9), only 4.FACT!

    Blue is not red. FACT!

WHat goes up must come down. FACT!

Oh. And the earth is a geoid shape, not flat. (this is a biggie) FACT!

    Now we get to thesim.

There is a god, but you must rely on it by faith not fact, that's why by definition it's called faith, not fact.

    Does this help?

  • @aidan1668

I necessarily wont. But facts will.

  • @SkippyZ1210 What else do you have besides your brain to separate fact from fiction on a personal level? You say that Jeff could want to kill 5,000 people in the name of efficiency and claim this as the "Brains logical conclusion" That might be -Gods- brains logic conclusion(He's killed well over 5,000, and been responsible for many more if you believe he exists) but it would not be a rational, free thinking human beings logical conclusion. Would you kill 5,000 people if your God told you to?

  • @SkippyZ1210 Individual experience is never proof, especially when the proof you claim is based on a presupposition that God exists. What is your proof that God DOES exist? It's your burden of proof. Atheist is the default position, if proof to you is "Someone said so" then you would believe tons of untrue things. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. If you're going to believe in a God "Because someone said so" you've proven you don't care if what you believe is true or not.

  • Only a dumbass broken gene, what I like to call, theistically sick, or how Calpurnpiso puts, a theo-tard, would adhere to this rule that something is palusible if it soley relies on faith not knowledge.

Knoweldge ALWAYS trumps faith. And I can prove that, and WIN, every time we toss a coin. Best out of 10, if we place bets, and I know everytime what the coin side is versus a lucky guess, I'll beat the theist every time, every minute.

  • In other words, Jeff would deny others rights while hypocritically protesting denial of his citizenship as an atheist.

  • Jeff absurdly claimed individual experience is never valid proof. What proof does he need? Bring the universe into the studio & make it fulminate? Or is his definition of G-d inadequate? Science hasn't explained everything unknown yet. Therefore, no explanation of it exists? Can science explain love? morality? No--so these things don't exist to Jeff. Thus, killing the 5,000, in name of efficiency, would be permissible to Jeff because science can't prove morality and because his brain rules.
