DKC ranked #2 in Time Magazine's top products of 1994 (#1 was the Chrysler Neon). The commercial was so true, showing that you don't need to add expensive hardware to your system to play it, you just needed the SNES itself. I'm happy to say that I pre-ordered it back then.

@VigorousjammerX Sorry for replying to an 8 month old comment, but Virtua Fighter was not rendered, it DID render. It was actually 3D. But it wasn't even close to being the first 3D game. DK was indeed the first fully rendered game.

This isn't the first ad.

@TheGameLord7 I think Nintendo was at it's pro style. SEGA was too, but if I had to pick which is not doing good, i'd say..........SONY!!!!!!!

@123doomdoom Yes. Genesis was my system of choice, too. Not for graphics, but because Sega had more Action games.
NOT on cd-rom.
Uh,thats not a good thing.

@randomguy10999 I agree ( in a way). BUT, at the time, Sega CD cost 240 dollars. And, it was only an add-on which required The Sega Genesis. At the time, both the Super Nintendo & The Genesis cost 150 dollars each. So, if you wanted the Sega CD system, it would cost 240 + 150 = 390 dollars. That was alot of money.
