  • Hi I'm new to the animation community and I'm making a short film and was wandering how to add video to the backgrounds of animation.

  • also you can use google sketch up! cool hint I found in a forum, export sketchup files as kmz, the rename the file extension zip ignore warnings then extract it by right clicking and selecting extract you get a folder with dae files and textures you can import into Daz! bjust select surfaces in view tab to turn up the opacity on the meshes! lol sharing this as it is so neat!! cheers!

  • daz is cool, another way to get backgrounds is just get a green background by making one in paint and sizing it to 500x500 and adding it as a jpeg background, only make sure you use open GL render so you don't have shadows, and then use a chromakey prog like cinegobs keyer, there are so many free backgrounds online too! a hint by a noob! lol

  • really. do you know that for a fact?

  • Depends on what you want in your background. If it's nature, Bryce is pretty awesome, but the free Daz Studio can do a lot.

  • the animation add on is $40 or you can get one of their other packages, Daz Studio Advanced, Carrera (starting with Express), or Bryce. All these and their more advanced (expensive) packages can do animation. Spend some time on their site they've pretty much got it all covered.

  • Very interesting!

  • no... the program creates nothing... it loads preset model and let you edit them. They some monster and other objects online though. But if you want to have real creation , and edting tools you will need Blender.

  • Can you create more than people? Like monsters and stuff? Also can you make it like a movie with movement?

  • yes

  • i have no sound here is there sound on this video?

  • Hey How To Change The Clothes Color?

  • witch programs are the best for backgrounds

  • Ooooh, lighting! That's a BIG chapter... sooooo, could you make it a little longer? It's so important to give a scene a good light!
