Your body defense mechanisms can actually reverse the progression of early cavities. Your saliva is loaded with calcium and other minerals that can replace the minerals sucked out by our acidic diets. Sodas - Sports Drinks - Coffee - even Lemonade cause the tooth to slowly dissolve!

  • Get toothepaste that contains amorphous calcium phosphate from your dentist or look online.

Pronamel makes a toothepaste with this in it. We place the ACP in a gel into custom trays the patient wears for 30 minutes per day. We also use a products called "Vanish" which has a strong 50,000ppm flouride component that hardens and protects enamel as well.

  • Changing one's diet is the answer. The vitamins and minerals (A,D,K,E) have to come from within, like wisdom.

Absolutely correct - our American diet is clearly responsible for much of the dental disease we see today.

  • WHERE DO WE GET REMINERALIZATION GEL???!!!

  • I agree with everything said here but, i need to add that lemon/citrus fruits put the body in an alkaline state, which makes your body less acidic naturally as long as you wash your mouth out after having it. Lemons also have lots of good minerals in them too, which is great for our health. Though I recommend squeezing half a lemon in a glass of warm water so it isn't so hard on the teeth.. drinking it pretty quick and then rinsing.

  • Is that music from the Kpax soundtrack?

  • HOW DO WE GET THE GEL?!!!!

  • @thetruthergirls Do people like this profile give you the answers you want ?

  • Neat! I never heard of remineralization gel before. Do a lot of dentists do this?
