@vaietehQ Sort of, yes, but there's more to it than that. That's just one factor in the entire plot. Religion in general plays a significant role, but not to the point where it's bashed over your head in this film--which works to it's advantage, I'd think. We're here to be entertained, not listen to religious commentary. It's moreso a human story with multiple points, and trying to boil it down to just one of the human factors, as you've just asked about, is giving it far too little credit.

@chouchiha69 Well, considering that the period of time they were aiming to emulate was the timeline of the Romano-British, it's no surprise that Uther had some Roman designs to his armor--as do several of the noblemen and such in this film, if you pay attention. Only difference is most of them it's leather-covered armor, probably with thin plate beneath, so it doesn't quite seem like the Roman plate armor of the Marius reforms.

I love how mab creates her own destruction by creating merlin in order to prevent said destruction
-
@Mr1958louief Merlin should be more like Scarface
-
@ballhog145 i know, but Mab is also Merlin's mum cause she helped create him. Merlin doesn't have a dad.
-
@vaietehQ nope Queen Mab killed his mom
-
so this all boils down to the story of a kid who wont listen to his mum and so his mum thought to teach him a bit of a lesson?

Poor Merlin, He should know you can Trust No One only yourself! In the end we all stand alone. We are our own protection. No one can care about us, like we care for others. Pride is a weakness, and most peoples down fall.

@1717merlijn theres this thing called rhotacism.

Doesn't Uther look Roman? And King Crazy said "Charge" in such a bored manner... But he is a good fighter, until Merlin came along. Loved the over exaggerated blood. ^_^
@MsZoey10
