'Tis better on the Intellivision as Astrosmash, where it was created. Extremely addicting. More than Asteroids and Space Invaders combined, even though that's what this game actually is.

Try it the difficulty set on B....it's actually a really fun and challenging game....

It's fun to watch u suck dick at this game

@theking21083 oh that makes sense, invert the difficulty setting.

@InecomCompany No it's set on hard. You are starting at Level 5 (Grey sky). Level 1 is a black sky. Also the UFO that flies across the screen doesn't appear until Level 4. Normaly you would not reach this difficulty until you had accrued 50,000 points.

I REALLY enjoyed this one as a kid. Think of it as 'tag', but with asteroids, spaceships, debris. You seem to die a lot! I've survived on this one for I think a record 4 minutes. Then my Father called me to do something and I lost because that. Man I was mad. i still love the video. I've been looking for this game. Sell me your copy? I can look it up on ebay most likely if you do not want to part with it. Thanks for this video.

its somewhat like a sped up version of space invaders where they drop down to attack your ship and the giant ship is even there too!

Astroblast for the Intellivision is awesome and one of my favorite Intellivision games, along with Shark Shark!

@scr99n easy isnt always the right way, varies from person to person....besides, most atari 2600 games were hard naturally anyway

i loved this game, at least the Intelivision one, this version looks far too fast to keep up with. might still pick up the cartridge anyway. i like this game a lot.
The reason that you are having so much trouble is because you have the difficulty select switch in the A position which mean Hard. I suggest flipping it to B for easy and try again.
