Despite the busy schedule and cold weather, concerned Filipinos in Edmonton and some Edmontonians gathered together for one good cause, to extend help to our kababayans who were severely affected by the recent typhoons.. 100+ volunteers from different Filipino Organizations in Edmonton participated in the relief drive. A total of 280 balikbayan boxes full of clothes, shoes, canned goods and useful stuff are scheduled to be shipped to the Philippines thru GMA Kapuso foundation and ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya.. Thank you very much to the donors, sponsors and volunteers...
