these are really well trained dogs, and this is how you do it right, by training and not being a irresponsible dog owner
-
Dabo no they shouldent this is how you waste breeds, the presa is ment to have an aggressive nature!
-
This dog was breed for a time long past. It would be wonderful if someone were to start breeding them to be less aggressive.

Great job with your dogs! Keep up the good work. It's unfortunate that there are those that don't know the difference between a well trained dog that protects its owner vs an attack dog. These dogs were bred to work. It is part of their genetic make up. They are not causing harm or problem. They are the happiest when they are working.

They're scary as hell! I fear these more than pit bulls and rottweilers, combined.

truly an elegant breed! and for the haters out there.. blame the owners not the breed..

Beautiful Dog....I was wondering since you are Presa C. owner what are the differences between a Dogo Argentino and Presa Canario (besides different breeds i know that of course) im trying to decide between those two breeds...Lets say you were in my shoes and they ask you which one would you choose and why? and why one breed over the other?
does anyone understand the difference between the dogo argentino, cane corso, and the presa canario? they all seem like large loyal descendants of the mastiff with protective instincs but I'm curious if anyone knows the subtle differences between these breeds. thanks

@RUNNVEE Very different in looks and character.
Some similarities, I think the most between Cane Corso and Presa Canario. Dogo Argentino different temperament and purpose. DA is a hunting dog, presa and CC at this moment protecion/guard dogs They do have similar things but when you are speinding time with them you see the differences. Hard to say in short comment

It's always the owners who make a dog they way they are. It's too bad these big beauties can't enjoy a nap in the sun or a hike. Instead they're with their goofball owners all trying to out-man, out-dog the next guy. Who has the baddest presa??? It's all for bragging rights.. Poor dogs.

@elombard39 Hello, This dogs are first and formost family pets. They sit here with us at homes, gives us kisses and hugs. Are companions and friends. But this does not mean they need to lose their function of guard and defence and they are great in this to not beeing vicious animals out of control. Far from that. A good working dog is in the first place balanced dog that is as good in the family as in work. There is no place for unstable and dengerous animals in this.

You know maybe people wouldn't be against those dogs if you didn't teach them to attack humans?

It's like with human protection sports. All comes with why and who is doing this. The problem starts with dogs untrained, those that are worked in protection are dogs that are under controll and need to be stable from definition.
