I love how the fight scenes just repeat the same things over and over

Where did you read that? The books I've read up to now always said that Mae Questl insisted she had done Olive from the beginning, but the voice sounds so different in some of the early ones that I've always been skeptical of that. Looks I like I was right to be skeptical.
(Though to be fair, who would EVER believe that Homer Simpson has been voiced by the same person from day one?)

Spinach is a drug now?

Poor Bluto... he was winning fairly for once.... Even the Ref seems to think he deserved the win...

I simply love the effect of Popeye's Punch on the object or person who receives the punch :D

@jimmye6669 Olive was voiced by Bonnie Poe in this cartoon. Poe and Mae Questel alternated voicing Olive in the early cartoons. I believe Mae would become the permanent voice in Axe Me Another.

@31operafan : Which episode did Wimy coin that particular phrase? Just out of curiosity.

What wrong with her voice???... It sounds nothing like Olive .
Did anyone else notice the guy in the locker room was smacking Popeye's raised butt? XD
The title"Let's you and him fight" is actually taken from a famous phrase coined by Wimpy, for those who don't know.

Also the first cartoon to use "Stars and stripes forever" as decisive post-spinach assault musical theme.
