@Moldovawineimporter lmfao unhuh.. keep on rolling with your beliefs bud. I appreciate the comment back but there's no way in hell any chinook spends 5-6 years in the ocean. 60-70's I might agree with your estimates of size and return. but not age. I've taken and read scales to identify age thousands of times over and never have I seen a 6 year old total in age chinook, from any river run. 4-5 year olds are as old as they get. most are 3-4 year olds.

@Tunedup81 So I guess you must be the back yard biologist because it is fact that Chinook Salmon do spend up to 5 to 6 years in the Ocean before returning to the rivers .
The 5 and 6 year olds are the largest and it was well know the the June Chinook used to be these older fish on the Columbia river .
I remember these June Chinook when I was a kid back in the late 60's and early 70's as the largest of all Columbia Salmon .
