Watch to the end for charity and donation info for the Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund. This darkly comic, kitschy video for Neil Nathan's folky lullaby version of "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" was written and directed by Zev David Deans, whose recent Survivaball Yes Men video was featured in the NY Times and Huffington Post. In it, Neil plays a little boy in penguin feetsy pajamas that opens his Xmas present early and is busted and whisked away by a very scary David Lynch style Santa and his Elves. Collectively, they are known as E.L.F.
Neil is using the video to raise money for a charity started by the family of his lifelong friend who passed away in the WTC on 9/11. The Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund sends underprivileged youth to summer camp. If you enjoy the video, please share iit with anyone you think would get a kick out of it and make a donation at FredGabler.org
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town is Neil's follow up Holiday single to his acclaimed cover of ELO's "Do Ya," featured on the Californication Soundtrack. It's received airplay and videoplay on Sirius/XM's The Coffeehouse and Fuse. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town is currently being spun on Sirius/XM's The Loft.
