Matthew and Destiny: First Steps 12-23-09

After Destiny leaves Greg's room, reminding him that their mother isn't going to back off Rachel anytime soon. Dani helps Matthew up from his wheelchair and gushes as Matthew says, "Oh, my, God, I'm standing!" Just as Matthew falls into Dani's arms, Destiny arrives, shocked at first, then accepts a hug from Matthew, who is ecstatic that he can walk! When Matthew appears at Bo and Nora's room, they are happily shocked to find him walking! Destiny watches as the family hugs then puts her gift for Matthew on a chair and leaves.

@Katrak I soo diagaree with this! Sorry this Dani/Matthew is just like SOLE!! Two parents who cannot stand eachother and the kids get together.. how boring is that?! Same ish, different day.. I want a TRUE love s/l where the cute full figured good friend for once gets the cute guy. Matt/Destiny are golden! Mix it up between Destiny's family and the Buchannons? Priceless!

I used to love Matthew but the way he treated Dani in comparison to the way he treated Des, really hurt my opinion of him. For example he bought Dani a present-a girl he knew for 2 minutes and didn't buy Destiny one. But Destiny bought one for him. What a jerk, so glad Dani dropped Matt as soon as someone prettier and buffer came along. lmao

Matthew and Destiny are so beautiful together!! I hate that the writers are going with Dani/Matt instead. I've practically stopped watching the show because of them.

I think the more interesting pair at this point in the storyline is Dani and Matthew, just due to the fact that their parents can NOT stand each other. Destiny is a great friend to him and is totally supportive of him..but that's just it. She really doesn't give Matthew much of a storyline with her beyond that point anymore, aside from gushing over him, being shy about confessing and getting jealous over Dani. Dani entered his life and turned it upside down. She's got more potential for a SL

good job, destiny! she totally made that happen and fought for and with matthew EVERY step of the way to have that surgery, by the best surgeon available. so good to see him walking! :D
