@realrealwarpet "Chwan" is just Sanji's way of making the suffix -chan cuter. In Japan, they use honorific suffixes like -san and -chan. Using -san is typically to show respect while -chan is used for persons they find adorable (usually used for younger ones/kids).

Now, on why Sanji calls Nami "Nami-san", Oda said it in SBS that it's somewhat of a reference to Nami's "queenly" demeanors. While he calls Robin "Robin-chan" because he calls every other girls with -chan except Nami. :))))

@realrealwarpet I believe it's a cuter way of saying Robin-chan; kinda like how nam-swan is a cuter way of saying nami-san. I don't know, I'm just speculating.
