In September of 2009 President Obama made a National Address to Students in Wakefield High School-Arlington, VA. Although it was televised, millions of children did not have the opportunity to see the president speak about the importance of personal responsibility in education because many schools banned or restricted access to the broadcast or any replaying of the speech simply because it was Obama.
