This guy is so damn hard to fight, even with the shield. I would have to make sure he's not gonna shield bash, and then block his thrust, then counter with a power strike. I do fight him in that spot, though.

@MusicDude10234 the real trick with this (imo) is the environment of this area. you've somehow gotta lure him past the walkway, then run to behind where he spawns, so you have some manouvering room. by comparison, as long as you single them out, the 3 red eye knights in 4-3 are actually considerably easier to fight simply due to terrain. that's what i've found anyway

My first time playing this level I stumbled upon him, I just did the parry move and took half his health away. I thought him a normal knight, I didn't expect him a super knight. Eitherway I felt special for beating him, now he's nothing to me. Considering he's one of the easy fights.

I just killed him... YAY... I used a pick axe, lured him down to the boletarian palace spawn point and fought him for like 8 minutes before knocking him into some fire and killing him... Before that I tried to have him fall, but it didn't kill him... thanks for the encouragement...

I's not hard at all fighting with a shield in this game. Try fighting this fucker while rolling/dodging with no shield. He just spams the run attack

I tried arrows and thief ring it works for the most part, problem is he will heal if given enough time! Take him to a stairwell and keep your distance but lead him away from his post.
