One of the greatest songwriting teams and harmonizing trios of the last 40 years, the Bee Gees perform live in 1989 from the National Tennis Center in Melbourne, Australia.

The song recounts the story of a miner trapped in a cave-in. He is sharing a photo of his wife with a colleague ("Mr Jones") while they hopelessly wait to be rescued. According to the liner notes for their box-set Tales from the Brothers Gibb (1990), this song was inspired by the 1966 Aberfan mining disaster in Wales.

  • they sing it like it's a happy happy joy joy song ... bad version.

  • absolutely priceless harmonies from one of the great British Invasion bands to hit the states in 64!!!

  • HAPPY TIMES~ RIP MAURICE.....

  • Epic! At their very best!

  • Man they had their voices working so well.. they could sing solo.. they could put 2 voices into a whole new different voice..here it comes they could even put 3 voices together..producing their unforgettable "beegees-voice..if somebody asks for the best of all times..the bee gees have to be in there..period!

  • within the years it became uncool to like them

    i love them

batter than the beatles if u ask me

  • mi favorita de los Bee Gee, GRANDIOSA VOCALIZACION...pasaron los años y nunca bajaron la calidad

  • Incroyable travail d'harmonie vocale

  • I love how their voices sound so good, even in a live performance. Not like the talentless and autotuned singers of today.

  • 1989...i was in love with robin then...2011... still in love with him...oh why do people have to grow old? (crying....)
