@BigYellow9999 Yes, she is ignorant, but that is the human condition. Typical human who thinks they know so much and don't realize how little they really know. Her vision is limited by her narrow horizons. Ever? She doesn't even begin to realize that the odds are that the best singer ever lived sometime in the past, and was only celebrated locally. Long before technology spread the music of one singer around the world there was Matilana who made everyone who heard her, weep and swoon.

Btw, has the poster ever heard of Rachelle Ferrell, Anita Baker, Patti Labelle, Cee Cee Winans, Ella Fitzgerald or any female singer before 1995? Why not youtube "rachelle ferell with open arms apollo" and start listening after the 3:30 mark, then come back and listen to Beyonce? Comparing the two is like comparing a 7 year old child to a grown woman!
Why not find Patti Labelle singing "somebody loves you baby", then come back and listen to Alicia Keys? The comparisons are simply embarrassing!

Alicia Keys/Beyonce/Christina Aguilera/Leona Lewis - Average to good voices. Beyonce shouldn't even be mentioned when talking about great voices!
Whitney Houston/Celine Dion - truly talented, although they both have a tendency to try and overpower songs.
Mariah Carey - she can sing in the whistle register, but her "regular" range is not as good as Whitney's/Celine
Maybe the title should be "The most famous American singers of the last 15 years!"
