This guy has it all wrong on the Tea Party. Corporations want BIGGER government that can enact regulations that serve their interests and squeeze out competition. Believe it or not there are some corporations out there who just want to compete in the market place without government regulations.

One has to invoke conspiracy theories and veiled language to have the Tea Party come across as Fascist. One needs just listen to the Occupy protestors to realize THEY are the dangerous violent radicals.

@igystrvigy if giant corporations such as the private health care industry wanted more government they wouldn't oppose a public option. Corporations' jobs are to simply maximize their profits with no concern with their externalities (the negative effects beyond the act of buying and selling). Regulations are to protect the consumer, worker and environment from negative externalities and abuses. There is a place for profit but not at the expense of all else, i.e., 'people first, not profits'.

@Txman1996 I hate trade unions, as they are corrupt, I hate goverment as they are corrupt, I hate the big banks and wall street people as their greed is the root cause of corruption in goverment. And, I hate the goverment on the left and right, for being slavish puppets for their corporate masters.

The protest is about the middle classes disappearing at an ALARMING rate... this is not about socialism or capitalism... this is about balancing the equation...

Never have the middle had it so bad.

I disagree that the tea party is racist. I am not a member of the tea party- however -I believe that they had some good ideas. I am however for universal healthcare supported by a vat tax so I could never join the tea party for that reason. I still think the two should unite and quit being haters on both sides. Support divirsity. [can't spell} Stand up for working toward a better country for everyone. Thanks and have a happier new year!

@munderlarkst Corporations are made up of people. People own shares in a company. People sit on boards. People make decisions that affect the world around, for better or for worse. If you think that a government is somehow better than a corporation you are just STUPID. Sure we can vote people out of office, but you can boycott a business if you don't like it and because it affects the bottom line you bet they will change or go under.

This guys an idiot. The tea party aren't racist! For example: In some tea party polls Herman cain won by huge margins. Also I doubt any libertarian would be racist as it completely goes against liberty. See how they quickly broke up the Occupy Wall Street Camp after last weeks trial with Chris Hedges. Of course they are guilty and they know it. @igystrvigy I think the light getting into your bubble is refracting and altering your rationality. Under no circumstances is it a conspiracy theory that Mr. Hedges said is true about the tea party. Who paid for the buses and stages? Corporations nvr want more government, since when has anyone of their army of lobbyist ever said there should be more rules. As for OWS, it is the voice of a generation that is oppressed by 30 years of policy enacted to feed the rich.
