Great character from topolov, not letting people forget who really is "the boss". Actually kasparov WON this super-tournament, (his umpteenth) depite losing this last game.

I remember in 2003 when the so-called "rising stars" in russia started saying(In russian) that gary was a "spent force" and that it was "time for the new generation" to "move on past him"

Gary, clearly angry, amazed everybody by taking part in the 2004 russian championship. He crushed all "the rising stars" and won it easily!

Yes, you have many of the top ten players on this list. But the fact that you do not have Paul Morphy on this list is evidence of your stupidity. Morphy was and will be one of the Immortal Chess Gods. He is the one player, who if alive today, with his incredible photographic memory and pure inate chess instinct, would compete and win against the greatest of today. He probably wouldnt have to but he could study, learn, and memorize modern theory. Morphy is easily top three. Period.
