i really want to put a fake plant/vine like your in the corner, but people say the beardie will try and eat it and if it gets a peice off it will die

I was advised by a very experinced keeper. That sand is a very bad substrate for beardies as they are prown to swollowing it, i have just rescued 3 beardies and was told by a the same keeper and breeder that the beech chip is a much safer substrate and holds the humity better.

Also i was told that lettece is very bad for them due to the pesticide content within it, even when washing it still has trace elements remaining, which is very bad for their digestive tracts, best veggies are cabbages.
