A room inside Castle of Heidegg, Gelfingen, Switzerland

On a beautiful day in April 2007, Amie and me made a trip with the car to the Castle of Heidegg, located near Lucerne.

The Castle of Heidegg was built somewhen in the 12th century, even before Switzerland started to exist.

The castle of Heidegg rises proudly and widely visible above the lake of Baldegg. It is a unique ensemble composed of the noble country seat, gardens, forests, meadows, vineyards and the lake, offering a splendid view of the Alps.

The video shows two of the beautiful rooms inside the castle, the second one being a banqueting hall, stucco-decorated around 1700.
