Can prehistoric mammoth's now be cloned?

Russian scientists say they've managed to develop the most detailed picture ever of the insides of prehistoric animals. They made the discovery after studying a baby mammoth found immaculately preserved in the Yamalo-Nenets region in the Urals last year.

@SilverApe1428 they eat the young that are sick, have deformities or would otherwise die. Animals are mothers too and they love and care for their young they carried in their bellies. Dont think for a second its what they want to do...its about survival... to save the life of one that would need more food, more attention etc than its brothers or sisters and risk putting the other babies in harms way, or more or less, put the baby out of its misery. Animals have a 6th sense about them

@amets88 Stop being ignorant. An individual of any species means nothing, only the species as a whole. Tigers and Gorillas could become prosperous once more with this technology. If this is a success we can clone endangered species to stability again. And besides seeing a mammoth in the zoo would be very fascinating.
