This is a video that displays the effectiveness and benefits of using a higher quality headset (turtle beach, tritton, astro, decent headphones). Hope this helps some people who are wondering how sound can help them get some kills! Enjoy! Please Rate and Subscribe!

I have owned and used the following headsets:
Turtle Beach X1
Tritton AxPro
Tritton Ax180
Audio Technica AD700 w/Astro Mixamp and mic mod
Sennheiser PC360 w/Astro Mixamp (my current headset)

  • the thing about turtle beaches is, although you can hear the enemys footsteps, it leaves you no clue as to WHERE they are, this leaves you insanely looking around nervously

  • @KingOfAllFailz I slightly disagree, because once I got used to them, I could easily locate guys around me. The only real trouble is when they are above or below you.

Also, this video isn't to strictly promote Turtle Beach, but all headsets in general. They will all help out, some more than others. I personally go for the better/more expensive stuff, but for most people an X11 or whatever will do just fine.

  • should i get a razer head set or px5 tb

  • @starcraft2dude1008 I haven't heard much about Razer's headsets but the px5 is pretty cool.

  • @xPwnzanichx thanks, but i heard the tb headsets break too easily

  • @starcraft2dude1008 None of the headsets I've owned had bad build quality, and none of them have broke while I owned them. If you throw them around and don't take care of them (any headset, any brand) then they could break at some point.

  • @dvd1731 Hey, that just means less last stand and etc. Fine by me. :P

  • @SecondIdentityGamers Hearing sounds and being able to locate them are two different things. Also, I could've used examples where you can't hear a damn thing in the video...but then people would be like "wtf is going on?"...so I made a compromise. But alas, you're one of the many who enjoy being negative for no real reason, completely ignoring the fact that this little video (over the past 2 yrs) has helped many people understand how a headset can help them, and if buying one is right for them.

  • I thought it was a trolling vid cause of the title lol

  • @KingOfAllFailz Not if your headset is surround sound and the surround sound IS ACTUALLY TURNED ON

  • My giotek ones do the same thing

  • @Shadowmaster0519 Astro's are good, but overrated IMO. The mixamp is pretty great though so It's a good all in one package if you don't want to mix and match the headset.

  • What about Astros?
