Back in 1969 I was 16 and really getting into cars. There was a 57 Cadillac Eldorado convertible in my neighborhood with a torn top and just sitting in the driveway. I asked the owner if they wanted to sell it. They said it had a blown engine and would sell it for $25. I asked my parents if they would let me buy it and they said NO!
