Very warm & tender song, perfect for Frida's voice. shame that the 2 versions (Time & Belle) are not available on cd or as mp3 download .

Frida was (bums aside) the better looking of the two. Unfortunately, she chose terrible clothes and hairdos, which didn't help. Poor old Russell Harty. Lovely duet from Frida and BA. Of course, I'm going to get a lot of flak from ABBA lovers, but listening to this, Frida was the 'voice' of ABBA. My God: this sounds like a Frida advert...but it's not, I can assure you.

@boo66 are you talking about this song? Because this is written by Benny and Bjorn! Lyrics by Don Black and Mike Batt using the tune of Abba track 'arrival'. This arrangement is a bit too slow though.

@johannesmclane no it was not. it was the blonds. sorry C. had to say it.

A bit of a comedown from the catchy and clever pop of Benny & Bjorn to this forgettable pap! Surely she could have found a good song writer to work with instead of this dishwater..
-
where's the goddam bagpipes?
-
Why am I working with her? It's pretty obvious, isn't it? Aaahhh, it's so sweet.

Actually, I just realised that he makes a comment about his gf in this clip so it was not Frida. :)

Put it this way, If there was a book on who would shag Frida that night who would your money be on, Russel or BA?
Thats true. She was peaking in the early 80s, look how good she was on The Visitors, so why quit then? Benny and Bjorn, were still the best songwriters in the business at that stage. Its no wonder she wanted to continue with ABBA. Its a pity that the best singers and songwriters didnt maintain their partnership for at least another album. Anyway it wasnt her fault that they broke up.

I think it was nobody's fault. They just came to an end as a group. Maybe if they'd continued in the vein started by The Visitors (the song), it would have lasted for a couple of years more... but looks like nobody except Frida was very inspired by such music.
