From the third album of Change "Sharing your love" 1982

The second and final album that featured lead vocalist James Robinson. Change continued scoring hits with "The Very Best in You," while the up-tempo tunes clicked in the clubs and the slow songs got urban contemporary airplay. The group had toured successfully in 1981 and that momentum continued into 1982

Producers were Mauro Malavasi David Romani & Jacques Fred Petrus

  • Change was, in my opinion, one of the most underrated R&B groups of all time. I have 3 Change albums - "The Glow of Love" (on cassette), "Miracles" and "Sharing Your Love" (both on vinyl). Change deserved MUCH more airplay and credit than they received 'back in the day'. On the three albums I mentioned, there really aren't any 'filler' cuts. Everything they put out was well orchestrated and beautifully sung. My all-time favorite Change song is "Hold Tight". That song is QUINTESSENTIAL Change.

  • one of my best song from this funky group ! According to me Change is the best from eighties years ! I remember when I was twelve years old and I listened this song in my first walkman it was so great and so very cool ... I miss you CHANGE...Forever in my spirit as Luther Vandross

  • @ArchieGe Did Change do a song called Cherish? I'm not talking about Kool and the Gang.. this one had the lyrics " And you should cherish, cherish my love". Please someone remember it!

  • They need to hurry up and go onback to the studio and make another album. They sound realgood. We grown folks need it.

  • The search is over.Thank you. I used to play this song to death.

  • "NO PLACE THAT I WOULD RATHER

    BE"

  • i Loved change and this song is one of my favourite's. It's so wistful and melancholy and sounds like a summer love fading. It really made an impact on me back in 1982 and that has stayed. For me the first two albums were the best and are flawless. This one is also a wonderul LP Let's Go Together from 1985 is another fabulous cut and an alltime favourite too. Many thanks for this beauty. x

  • THE BEST EVER
