@BeyondLame He's a year younger, the actor is, and he was playing him like 5 years in the past, so if anything he was four years too old.
-
@BeyondLame You have to remember that generation kill takes place in '01, five years before. A lot can change in 5 years.
-
I think Fick's actor was a bit too young :\
-
I know in generation kill Lt. Fick was close to being court marshalled did he ever get charged because I think he was or is a great leader
-
Excellent leader.
-
generation kill is a true story so yeah its who is portrayed in the series. vb1..he did go to college, he was an officer and he had their respect..
-
He went to Dartmouth genius.
-
Then go to college and become an officer and learn how to take care of your men and get their respect. not by your rank but by your action.
-
No its not the actor.
-
yes it is.
I don't know why you talk shit about the senator that is really interested in what he has to say, he probably is just happy or maybe surprised at the intelligence of the troops.
If he was acting the opposite and being apathetic, then I'd talk shit.
Captain Fick, like many other good Marines, left the Corps because the Corps is unwilling to bend, to change its perceptions immediately. Don't get me wrong... I loved the Corps but there are some things that people with common sense and reason are not willing to do. The Corps is then left with too many careerists who keep ruining it for the guys that are trying to make things better. The Corps needs more officers like Captain Fick. Semper Fi, Sir. I would follow you to the very depths of Hell.
